Last week AoFAQ received a very interesting phone call regarding a 9 month pregnant lady on a Emergency First Aid at Work course. The trainer, called us and stated that they did not want this woman on the course due to her being pregnant.

AoFAQ launches Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator

AoFAQ are proud to announce the launch of our new half day AoFAQ Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (QCF) qualification. This is a half day course with 4 classroom hours. The course is aimed at learners who wish to gain the knowledge and skills to perform CPR and use an AED. This course compliments an Emergency First Aid at Work course as an additional qualification.

For attention of all our centres AoFAQ last postal dates before Christmas

AoFAQ Headquarters will be open until midday on the 24th December 2015. We will then be closed until Monday 4th January. We have been advised by both Royal Mail and Parcelforce of the last postal dates. AoFAQ will send post and books out up to and including the 22nd December 2015. After this date, we will not be sending any post out until Monday 4th January. This is to avoid any post potentially going missing in the postal service given this time of year.

IQA CPD WEBINAR EVENT

We are pleased to announce a CPD webinar for first aid training centres, trainers, and IQA staff. This is in response to the requirements that after October 1st all staff must be suitably qualified dependant on their activity. Trainers should hold a suitable qualification in Training and Assessment. Likewise centres require a qualified Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).
